Community Calendar

Yesterday’s Café is a monthly gathering for people affected by Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias, along with families, caregivers, and professionals. It is open to the public and free of charge.  Cypress Place hosts the gathering at their senior living community each month. 

The program is unique in having caregivers attending at the same time with those they care for who are afflicted with Alzheimer’s and dementia.  The meetings are both educational and informal social events.  Caregivers gain emotional and social support, along with having the opportunity to meet with professionals in a social setting and obtain informal consultations.  There are a variety of activities for those in attendance with Alzheimer’s and dementia.
